CREATING OPPORTUNITIES, FINDING SOLUTIONS.
The Resolve Group is a top-performing real estate team specializing in Stanford Circle: the interconnected Peninsula communities surrounding Stanford University, including Atherton, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, and Woodside.
Founded by Adam Touni and Katharine Carroll in 2019, The Resolve Group has closed more than $700 million in residential sales as a team throughout Stanford Circle. Collectively, the team's advisors have represented more than $1.4 billion in lifetime residential sales, bringing decades of experience across a wide range of market cycles and transaction types. The Resolve Group has been recognized by RealTrends among the top small real estate teams in California and nationwide. The team's success is driven by local expertise, strategic execution, and a highly personalized approach to client service.
Their practice is built around the nuances of one of the country’s most competitive and tightly held residential markets, representing clients across legacy estates, architectural properties, trust and estate transitions, and strategic off-market opportunities.
The Resolve Group approaches real estate with a long-term advisory mindset rather than a transactional one. Every client, property, and transition requires a different strategy, particularly in a market where timing, preparation, discretion, and positioning can materially impact outcomes.
The team combines data-driven market expertise with highly tailored execution across pricing strategy, property preparation, negotiations, marketing, and buyer outreach. Their process is designed to reduce friction, create clarity, and help clients move confidently through complex decisions.
Adam Touni brings a unique legal and strategic perspective shaped by his legal background as focused on land use, real estate transactions, and litigation before becoming a full-time broker associate. His ability to identify risk, structure deals thoughtfully, and craft compelling narratives around properties has become a defining strength of the team’s approach.
Katharine Carroll brings operational leadership, project management expertise, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach developed through her experience as a professional cyclist and former managing broker of Pacific Union’s Palo Alto office. She is known for guiding clients through complex transactions with precision, consistency, and clear communication.
Together, their complementary strengths create a highly collaborative advisory experience grounded in expertise, preparation, and trust.
Stanford Circle represents one of the most distinctive residential markets in the country, a highly educated, globally connected, and historically low-turnover collection of communities anchored by Stanford University and Silicon Valley innovation.
Many properties within Stanford Circle are held for decades, passed through generations, or traded quietly off-market through trusted relationships. Success in this environment requires more than broad market knowledge; it requires deep local understanding, longstanding relationships, and an ability to navigate highly nuanced transactions with discretion.
The Resolve Group has intentionally built its practice around this ecosystem and the clients who call it home.
For many clients, the relationship with The Resolve Group begins well before a property officially comes to market and continues long after a transaction closes.
The team’s business is built largely through referrals and long-standing relationships developed over time through trust, consistency, and results. Whether advising on a future sale, evaluating opportunities, or navigating a major life transition, The Resolve Group serves as a strategic real estate partner for clients throughout Stanford Circle.
