I’m so grateful that I’ve had nearly three months of paternity leave to spend time with our newborn girl, Hope. It’s the longest stretch of time off I’ve had since starting my career in real estate over 11 years ago. Thanks to the help of our team, I’ve been able to be present with my daughter in these special early months in ways that I couldn’t have without the support of our team. It’s been an incredible gift and I’m truly grateful to have been afforded the opportunity.
Returning to work this week, I wanted to share a bit about the journey my family has been on to have Hope, as the story received national coverage earlier this month.
As many of you know, my wife, Brittany, and I have been trying to start a family for years. In fact, the journey began when Brittany was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in her mid-30s (prior to our meeting), nearly a decade ago.
Our story is about love, perseverance, and above all, Hope. I wanted to share it with you as so many of you have been supportive over the past several years during our effort to have our first child.
Thank you for your love and kindness.
