Former clients reached out to Kat as their growing family made their current place feel a little tight. They were open to new neighborhoods and Kat started showing them houses on the weekend. As their criteria started to come more into focus and they really knew what they were looking for, Kat met with a Compass colleague who mentioned a property that might be available later in the year. A showing was arranged while the sellers were out of town and it was THE HOUSE! Kat worked with them to put an offer together, but even with the back and forth of counter offers the deal did not come together. While the buyers continued their search months later, they kept returning to THE HOUSE. Knowing what her clients ultimate goal was and based on her relationship with her colleague, Kat was persistent and helped the buyers put together an offer that worked for the sellers the second time around.
Clients were referred to Adam on a Friday afternoon after already identifying their ideal home. He did a call to learn more about their objectives on Saturday morning, and immediately got them in touch with one of our go-to lenders that weekend to start their pre-approval. He worked with our full-time staff to prepare an offer that weekend. He stayed in contract with the listing agent who let him know they had received a preemptive offer from another party at 9 pm on Sunday. Based on the clients’ speed in providing docs to the lender, they finalized the pre-approval Monday morning and submitted the offer that afternoon. While the other offer was all cash, our clients’ financed offer won out based on price, the responsiveness of our team and the professionalism of our offer package. We do our best, to make the decision for the listing agent and the seller to work with our buyers!
