Welcome to Redwood City
Redwood City is the perfect combination of community, location, and amenities. It’s conveniently located mid-peninsula, and the bullet stop on Caltrain makes it ideal for commuting to San Francisco. Downtown Redwood is also emerging as one of the peninsula’s go-to spots for restaurants and nightlife.
Redwood City is the oldest town on the peninsula and was a port city during the gold rush. It faded from prominence for a time, but the late 1900s saw a significant revitalization that continues today.
Luxury apartments are a huge draw in Redwood City, keeping residents close to the action of Downtown. There are a lot of gorgeous single-family homes as well, and the lower cost compared to many of the neighboring towns makes Redwood City real estate a go-to for first-time home buyers.
